The robust furniture reflects the stern personality of the military man, while providing the warmth and comfort of the home. The uniquely designed mosaic bathtube provides the same ambivalent atmosphere for the bathroom as well.

Daniel Mihaly II had a prominent military career, serving under Apafi Mihaly, Prince of Transylvania.
Count Daniel Mihaly, and his wife Haller Judit were the ones mostly defining the current aspect of the castle through massive construction works carried out in the year 1669.
This is when the large carved-stone coat of arms on the forefront of the castle was created, along with the carved-stone doorframe at the main entrance, carrying the owners' initials and the year 1669.
